WordPress Tip #13 – Adding Feeds To Your WP Reader

Did you know that WordPress Reader also functions as a feeds reader? RSS Feeds it to get the newsletter text based content from the web or blog you wish to read and place them in a single layout of app or by other reader means. If you love to use a single WordPress app this is definitely a way to go to follow your favorite web or blog outside of WordPress.com!

How To via WordPress Desktop PC

First, Go to reader from your web.

Create a list that will make you easier in organising later on.

Add the blog or web feed link. For WordPress related blog you can add /feed at the end of the blog link to get the feed. Press Add button after it’s done. Click on the blog name after, in this sample click Axel The Key.

Press Follow button and your favorite blog or web should appear in your WP Reader.

There you go everything is set!


This is just feeds and no image or full content should appear at your WordPress reader. You need to click … more words to read the blog.


How To via Mobile WordPress App



Find the tag icon at the top right.

      It will allow you to add your non-WordPress.com friends to your Reader where you give likes, comments, and reblog someone’s posts. So you will still get the update from their blog this way.
